I made it and all Din A 4 prints of my pictures, which flew around in our apartment or piled up, or alternately one, then the other did, summarized in folders and arranged (what else). Certainly there are people who want to get an idea of it. Let me tell them that there are about 350 motifs, often in two to three variations. Not counted are any individual sheets framed on the wall, plus a not inconsiderable number of pictures that have never been printed before, plus the pictures that have so far only been printed in postcard format. These stacks will be my next effort. Then I will have to label them. And, and, and … I get the idea not to call myself a painter, but a transformer. Among other things, it’s also about the discussion at which point a loaned work turns into one of my own. I am sure that this discussion is necessary and that it can be conducted successfully. I will work on it. By the way, the above work is a “transformation” and at the moment I have no memory of the “mother image” … (besides, it is also a collage of prints of the edited “mother picture” (among other things a “total-blowup”!) … – I will make it more detailed soon.
