It was this feeling of being in the right place at the right time. It was the 25th of March 2017. It was shortly after 6 pm, I expected my wife for dinner in about half an hour and went according to plan from the kitchen to the adjacent living room to set the table there. I have to say, we have different dining places with respective advantages and disadvantages in our apartment. At different times of the year or on different occasions we even rebuild the whole functional structure of the apartment, often to the astonishment of those who know us.
On this evening, however, it was only a matter of setting the table. When I entered the large room, I saw the wall on the right shining brightly. But it wasn’t the wall that reflected the light, but our son’s old electric guitar with which he had spent the first years of his guitar lessons. Exactly on the body and its immediate surroundings a square of sunlight shone, which could not be expected at this place in this way. It worked like a small physical miracle. The miracle was made possible by a tilted window in the neighbouring house, in which the sun was reflected, which due to the location of our house could never reach this room in the evening. I knew that suns do not wait, but constantly circumnavigate our earth on apparent orbits. It had to go fast, I remembered the photo function of my new smartphone… miraculously everything succeeded. I was able to take my photo after a very short time. The moment was captured. When I looked at the photo, I saw something like a poster that some would envy. Something drove me to scribble into this photo to make it an IMAGE. From then on, my smartphone and I became friends. We would still make many IMAGES. When my wife came back from work, he sun had left the room, as if it had never been there.
