Yes, dear follower, another month, another full moon post. I#m just back from a visit to North-Holland. To be precise it was the little town that is suited directly to the waterfront. named Egmond aan Zee. My wife and my children, we’ve been there for a short or longer vacation every year, since we met. It’s a kind of a second home place to us. One of our favorite pleasures is to bike through the great dunes areas in the south and in the north of Egmond. Every year we are fascinated by their looks and their moods. So every year some photo shooting takes place. And I try to catch this specialty in my paintings. The full moon painting above is based on a Photo, done on midday in full daylight. I have darkened it and crowned it with the moon and the white sands of the dunes reflect the pale moonlight.
